What is the Walkathon? View Ridge PTA's annual fundraiser, held each fall. Students collect pledges and on the big day the whole school walks around the campus as many times as they can, cheered on by parents, local sports figures, police, firefighters, and more!

 Why a Walkathon?

  • 100% of funds go directly to the PTA to support programs and events throughout the year
  • It encourages healthy activity in our kids and builds community
  • Your donation is fully tax-deductible, and eligible for employee matching funds (see below for more info)
  • We figure parents don't need another $18 tub of cookie dough or magazine subscription!

Pledges and donations. Please send in your pledge form and all collected funds to the school the day of the event. Checks should be made payable to View Ridge PTA. Need a new prize coupon sheet or pledge form? (The pledge form is fillable, AND totals for you!) View Ridge Elementary PTA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit. Your donation is 100% tax-deductible; our Federal Tax ID is 91-1095591 for your records. Many local businesses, most notably Boeing and Microsoft, match employee donations of $25 or more. Ask your employer and help us double your gift!

For a Boeing Match:
Did you know that if you are a Boeing Employee they will match your donation of over $25.

A BIG THANK YOU to this year's Walkathon Sponsors! Your donation of $150 earned a spot on over 600 t-shirts!

Come join the fun! Events like this take all of us helping. Sign up to volunteer to hand out prizes during the week, or the day of the event to work the water stations, encourage kids along the route (wacky outfits optional) and count collected donations. A very fun and easy way to support your kids and your school. No experience necessary!
